Frequently Asked Questions

What is this actually for?

Everyday washing — face, body, hands. It's the cleansing step rather than a leave-on product, made for people whose skin is dry, itchy or easily bothered and who'd rather not reach for an ordinary supermarket bar. It's not a treatment, and it isn't meant to replace anything you apply afterwards.

I've already got a bee venom cream. Why would I want the soap?

Because it does a completely different job. The soap is your wash step; the cream comes afterwards and stays on the skin. Use either on its own, or make both part of the same routine.

Can I use it on my face as well as my body?

Yes. It's made for face-and-body washing, so keep it in the shower or use it at the basin. If it's your first time using it on your face, try a small area first and keep the lather away from your eyes.

Who should avoid it?

Don't use it if you have a known allergy to bees or bee-derived ingredients, as the bar contains bee venom and honey. It also contains an essential oil blend, and essential oils are a common cause of contact irritation — patch test first if your skin is particularly reactive. Avoid the eyes and broken skin, and stop using it if irritation develops.
